Privacy Policy
This policy describes what the Kolay Ecosystem co-founder portal collects, why, and what happens to it. It describes the system as it is actually built, not as it might work later.

What we collect when you apply
The application form asks for, and stores, the following: your name, email address, the location you type in, your current role, your years of experience, one achievement you describe, the industries and skills you select, the weekly hours you offer, the roles you would take, your risk appetite, your preferred way of working, how long you are picturing, what capital you would put in alongside your time, how close you have been to founding before, and the venture you applied to.
We also store what the system derives from those answers: a readiness score, the breakdown behind it, and the ranked ventures you were matched with. Each application is given a reference number and a status, and we record the date and the version of the consent text you agreed to.
Your CV is read, not kept
If you upload a CV or paste its text, it is sent once to Anthropic’s API, which extracts a structured profile used to prefill the form. The file and its raw text are not written to our database and are not retained by us after that request completes.
You can skip the upload entirely and fill the form in by hand. Nothing in the process depends on it.
Why we process it
To evaluate your application, match it against open co-founder seats, and contact you about the outcome. You give explicit consent at the point of submission, and that consent is the basis for the processing. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawing it means we can no longer consider the application.
Who can see it
Applications are visible to the reviewers who run the programme. They are stored by Basefyio, which hosts our database and our sign-in, acting on our instructions. Anthropic processes CV text at the moment of extraction as described above. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
If your application is accepted, the founding team of the venture you matched with will see it — that is the point of applying.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept for as long as the season they belong to is open, and afterwards for as long as we need them to run the programme and answer questions about a decision. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep a record.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and, in Türkiye, under KVKK Article 11, you can ask what we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and take it elsewhere in a portable form. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Write to info@kolayecosystem.com and we will answer. We will not ask you for more information than we need to find your record.
Security
Sign-in runs over OpenID Connect against Keycloak. Session tokens are held in your browser for the length of the session and in a cookie that JavaScript cannot read. Requests to administrative interfaces are verified server-side against the identity provider’s signing keys before any data is returned.
